	Nonwoven fabrics are formed by the consolidation of fibres by mechanical, thermal or chemical means. The construction and properties of nonwoven fabrics are extremely diverse and can range from loose fibre assemblies for air filtration and insulation; to strong hardwearing fabrics for use as papermaking felts or geotextiles
	Laminating & Coating Two or more pre-existing materials are combined using an adhesive. A fabric might be bonded to another fabric or to a continuous sheet material. Membranes are ultra thin coatings and are used to control fabric permeability without radically altering the fabric stiffness (eg PU, PVC, PTFE).
