Part of Allied Textile Companies Ltd since 1985. The Company dyes and finishes around 8 million metres of woven fabric each year. This fabrics goes into a wide range of end-uses including parachutes, hot air balloons and protective clothing.
Dyeing can be done on jigs, beam and jet, all with high temperature capability. Polyester and nylon are the volume products but flame retardant polyester, acrylics and various aramid fibre fabrics are also processed. A range of finishes is offered including water repellent fluorocarbon, antistatic and various Calendered effects.
Fabrics can have the selvedges trimmed and heat sealed by means of ultrasonic cutting devices on each of the two gas-fired Stenters. Century Dyeing Company continues to invest in the latest technology to be able to offer all customers a fully comprehensive and competitive service.
