Industrial textiles are those used in an industrial process or those which form part of an industrial product.

A major industrial application is filtration. Textile filters can be used either to remove an unwanted material such as a pollutant or to collect a product such as a foodstuff. Other applications include seals and gaskets; and conveyor and abrasive belts.
